Who We Are

Based in the Stratford on Avon area, ECO Work-Shop is a community interest company set up in 2013.  We provide a supported environment to enable adults with a learning disability or autism to carry out a range of work based activities. 

Ethos and values

We believe: adults with a learning disability or autism have a right to live purposeful, stimulating and active lives.

Our mission: to raise expectations about the talents of our participants, reduce prejudice and increase tolerance and understanding.

Our goal: to increase mental and physical wellbeing by:

  • building confidence and self worth
  • increasing social and independence skills
  • improving and increasing opportunities to live full and active lives
  • encourage employers to engage with our participants     

 

Meet Our Directors

 

Suzanne Morrison 

Operations Director
Suzanne Morrison has personal and professional experience of supporting people with Autism and Learning Disabilities. She has a community nursing and teaching background. Suzanne is responsible for day to day management and the supervision of our support workers. 


 

Catherine Adams 

Business Development Director 
Catherine Adams is a qualified lawyer and has personal and professional experience of supporting people with Autism and Learning Disabilities Catherine supports and deputises for the Operations Manager in addition to liaising with partners, Volunteer co-ordination, and promotion of the service. Her understanding of the needs of people with Autism and Learning disabilities enables her to provide information, advice and guidance to participants, parents and carers in their caring roles. 
 

Carol Older 

Income Generation & Business Support Director 
Carol Older has experience in voluntary sector strategic development. Her roles have included income generation, fund raising, contract management of European Social Fund and Government funded projects. Carol is a member of the core network for Skills for Care in the South East. Carol is responsible for income generation and funding management.

 

Our Staff

We currently employ 11 experienced work activity supporters, who guide and enable participants to reach their potential in performing work based activities. To help with scheduling of all our staff and volunteers we use www.wheniwork.com
